The ministry of Internal Affairs in Uganda has come up with a directive barring all people visiting its premises from carrying heavy bags or Luggage.

The directive came into course due to the bomb blasts that are on a rampage around the different areas of the country. The recent bomb blasts occurred at a eating joint in Komamboga, a Kampala suburban, Swift transportation Bus, heading to Mbarara and in Nakasongola where an explosive was placed in a jackfruit. The Komamboga blast was the most alarming as it killed a waitress who was working with eating joint and left several people injured.

The bomb blasts have been labeled as terrorism attacks to Uganda by its enemies. The enemies are yet to be verily known but there are allegations indicating that the attacks must be from the Islamic state, an international terrorism group or ADF a renown local rebel group that has always been putting the government of Uganda on tenterhooks.

Tension has been looming around the country but the terrorism police and other security organizations are working around the clock to stop these terrorism attacks and also bring the culprits to book.

The authorities in the country have advised people and entities to be vigilant and cautious. This is why the Ministry of Internal Affairs has ordered people to stop carrying heavy bags or luggage, those visiting its passport offices, the most sought after at the premises. This was said by its spokesperson, Jacob Siminyu.
