Early October this year, Kanye west a popular American rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian of a famous American reality show keeping up with the Kardashians came to Uganda for a short expedition at Murchison falls national park where they shot an upcoming album video of Kanye. During the visit to Uganda, they dropped by the state house where they met president Museveni and held a cordial meeting of which the matter of their conservation what not revealed to the public.
However, many paparazzi alleged that president Museveni had asked Kanye west to become the tourism ambassador of Uganda due to his huge following around the world that could influence many people to come and enjoy the natural beauties of Uganda. On the contrary Kanye west came out a few weeks back to deny the allegations as he tweeted, “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative”.
In the past Kanye west has been in the papers for the wrong reasons of supporting the infamous trump policies in America and he has had very many backlashes from the black community who have seemed to perceive trump’s policies as harsh on them.
