The Africa travel expo in Durban South Africa popularly known as “Ndaba” concluded last week and Uganda emerged the best exhibitor.
The Africa travel expo normally involves different tour operators from various countries around the world to showcase what their countries have in terms of tourism. Travelers who also wish to travel to various destinations also come to check some interesting tour packages.
The Africa travel expo is also a meeting point of different tour operators who wish to merge in order to extend their businesses to various tourism destinations which are not in their area of jurisdiction but their clients may wish to visit.
During at the expo, the tour operators display various attires, souvenirs and videos elaborating and illustrating the various tourism destinations in their countries. At this year’s Africa Travel expo which concluded last week, Uganda emerged as the best exhibitor. The gold accolade was given to minister of tourism Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu by the president of South Africa H.E Cyril Ramaphosa.
